Teen Choice Awards Bitten By Twilight

Twilight reigned supreme at the 11^th Annual Teen Choice Awards. The stars and the movie took home 11 surfboards out of the 12 awards they were nominated for. Imagine, they only lost 1?  Tweens, specifically the Twilighters want them to suck up all the show was to offer.

The movie even vested out this year’s winner of the Academy Awards Best Picture Slumdog Millionaire for Choice Drama! And it also bagged the Choice Movie Romance. The movie also took home Choice Movie Rumble (Rob Pattinson vs. Cam Gigandet), and one of the night’s most coveted awards, the Choice Movie Liplock to Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Rob Pattinson didn’t stop there, either.  He got four surfboards, which included Choice Drama Actor and Male Hottie. (Megan Fox got the Choice Female Hottie.)

But it was Teen Queen Miley Cyrus Who had the most Over-all trophy that night. She bagged half a dozen Teen Choice Awards, including Choice Music/Dance Movie Actress, and Hissy Fit.

Other Twilight Stars who won are Cam Gigandet also got the Choice Movie Villain. Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene both got the Choice Movie Fresh Face awards.  And the movie also won in the Choice Music Soundtrack category.

The show was hosted by the three superstar siblings the Jonas Brothers at Hollywood’s Gibson Amphitheater.  And they also got to perform on stage. Plus they also took home five awards. What a big night for them, too.

Zac Efron and Selena Gomez was huge for them, too for they took home three Teen Choice Awards each. While on the small screen category, Gossip Girl and Hannah Montana dominated the awards, with four surfboards each, including Choice Drama and Comedy, respectively.

Britney Spears received the Ultimate Choice Awards. She still holds the record for the most Teen Choice surfboards with 15.

It was huge (and loud) night for shrieking teenagers.
