The Last Song stars Miley Cyrus, Greg Kinnear, and Liam Hemsworth. Its storyline follows a troubled teenager as she reconnects with her estranged father and falls in love during a summer in a quiet Southern beach town. Offspring Entertainment produced the film for Touchstone Pictures, an alternative film label of The Walt Disney Company.

Plot:  At seventeen, Veronica “Ronnie” Miller remains as rebellious and distant as she was the day after her parents’ ugly divorce and father’s subsequent relocation to Georgia three years ago. Once a classical piano prodigy under the tutelage of her father, Steve, Ronnie now rejects the instrument in favor of partying with her friends and has not spoken to her father since he left. Although Ronnie has been accepted to Juilliard School, she refuses to attend.

Now, Steve is given the chance to reconnect with his estranged daughter when her mother, Kim, sends the rebellious teen and her younger brother, Jonah, to spend the summer with him. Steve, a former Juilliard School professor and concert pianist, now lives a quiet life in Tybee Island, the small Georgia beach town where he grew up, working on a stained glass window for the local church to replace the one the church lost in a fire.

Upon arrival, Ronnie is miserable, hostile and defensive toward all those around her, including handsome, popular Will Blakelee – until, after both she and Will become involved in protecting a Loggerhead Sea Turtle nest, she discovers he is deeper than she believed. As Ronnie falls in love with Will, she also manages to bond with Steve through the one thing they have in common- music.

Louis Leterrier, who gave us “The Incredible Hulk” and the “The Transporter 2”, is directing the remake of the classic film, Clash of the Titans – a movie that is set to be a hit flick, fully packed with a action, adventure, drama and fantasy.

The plot of the movie focuses on the adventures of Perseus, a demigod.

Son of a god but raised by a mortal, Perseus casted by Australian actor Sam Worthington of Terminator: Salvation and Avatar embarks on a dangerous and exciting journey to prevent Hades(Ralph Fiennes) and his minions from spreading wrath on earth. Kinsey’s Liam Neeson takes the role of the mighty Zeus. Rounding out the cast is Casino Royale’s Mads Mikkelsen as Draco, Quantum of Solace’ Gemma Arterton takes the part of Io, Jason Flemyng who stars in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button plays the part of Acrisius, a one-time king turned hideous beast, and Princess Andromeda casted by Defiance’ actress Alexa Davalos.

The film will be released in 3D wherever possible, making the gods even more redoubtable, the beasts even more terrifying, and taking the audience closer into the legendary journey of Perseus.

Alice In Wonderland even exceeded the sales of “Avatar”, another very popular 3-d flick which raked numerous academy awards to include best picture during the recently concluded Oscar Awards.

Many could not believe how Burton’s movie became such a big hit despite the rated PG (Parental Guidance) that the Government Classification Board has given it.
