Two of today’s hottest teen idols are filled with enthusiasm as they flaunt their ‘rock star’ images in their newest movie, The Runaways. Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart readily confessed that they are true blue fashionistas and that sporting their fabulous rock and roll attires gives them the best avenue in expressing their individual inkling for fashion.
In the movie, the two actresses portray the roles of two of the members of the real life all-girl rock band called The Runaways. Joan Jett (Kristen Stewart) and Cherie Curie (Dakota Fanning) are two of the famed members of the band that took the music industry by storm back in the early 70’s.
When asked how they did in playing their rock star characters on screen, Kristen replied, “It looks great in the movie, but we are not close to the musicians that they are”.
Dakota on the other hand was crazy about all their rock star attire. “I loved the outfits, I kept most all of them,” Dakota said. “Cherie gave her corsets away and we had them remade for the movie, so I’m going to give her (Cherie) one and I think that will be really cool.”
Meanwhile, Kristen recalled that she too gave Joan Jett a leather jacket where she wrote all over the back of it.
