2010 is really a promising year for us movie goers. This years screen flick promises us more adventure and more excitement and even more popcorns .. hmmm. In store for us is the new epic movie remake from the 80’s. with the same title Clash of the Titans. The movie is directed by Louis Leterrier who also directed the block buster the Incredible Hulk and the fast paced suspense Transporter 2. The movie is about the Homeric epic of the Iliad where the demi-god hero Perseus searches for his true origins. Zeus his real father is in constant threat of being dethroned by his brother the god of the underworld Hades. Perseus engages himself in an epic adventure of fighting demons, and other creature under the watchful eye of his father eagerly helping him in every step of the way. You might want to get to know the Titans first before watching this movie to better understand the movie.
Reviews about this movie was raving, since this movie is a remake of the classic 1981 movie, slight changes in the plot made the movie more exciting and edge-of seat nail bitter. The 1981 movie was a star studded , with Sir Laurence Olivier, Claire Bloom and Dame Maggie Smith ( Prof. Mcgonagal in Harry Potter movies). The 2010 remakes has Sam Worthington. Liam Neilsen and Ralph Fiennes.
Story begins with the central figure Perseus son of a Zeus . But he grew up and raised raised human, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld or hell.

I have come across reading some reviews and most of them tells that the movie is another would be blockbuster like the past hero and epic movies like Troy or 300.One reviewer was confused by the screen play Jason and the Argonauts, a 1963 movie and ended up screwing the whole movie summary. Anyways, this flick will be released this coming first quarter of 2010, expectedly on March 26.
