Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise are are back in each other’s arms… on the big screen. It has been nine long years since we last saw them together on the big-screen in the 2001 cult classic Vanilla Sky.

Knight and Day is a huge departure from what they’ve done on Vanilla Sky. The 2010 movie is an action filled movie that also promises to have lots of laughter on the side, while the latter was a psychologial thriller.

Knight and Day, originally titled Wichita, which I have no idea why they called it but thank God they changed the title, lame but much better, is an action comedy film which stars both A-list actors and would be awesome to Watch Knight and Day Online for Free! The movie is about a wholesome, Midwestern, single woman named June Havens (played by Diaz) who lives a normal, lonely life. But her seemingly uneventful life is then suddenly thrown to disarray when she had a blind date which she thought was harmless. She met with a mysterious guy whose was Roy Miller (played by Cruise). He is either the man of her dreams that she longs to be with… or the nightmare that would turn he simple life upside down. It turns out that he is an ace secret government agent and gets accidentally involved in an action packed adventure. She then ends up travelling all over the world with him to protect a dangerous piece of technology, a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source.

The movie is directed by James Allen Mangold. This American film director is famous for his work Walk The Line( whereReese Witherspoon won her Best Actress trophy at the Oscars) , which he also co-wrote. His other films include 1999′s Girl, Interrupted (where Angelina Jolie won her Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards), Kate and Leopold (with Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman, and his recent film in 2007, 3:10 to Yuma, a remake of the 1957 movie of the same name.

Maggie Grace will also be on the movie. She plays Julie’s sister, who is getting married, and is excited that Julie will take the place of her late father to walk her down the aisle. The film also stars Peter Sarsgaard, Mart Blucas, Paul Dano, Olivier Martinez, and Viola Davis. But the movie will face tough competitions. The Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz movie will fight against the Twilighters, as the third installment of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, will be released on the big screen on June 30, 2010. And not only will they be against the sexy vampires and werewolves, they will also be pitted against an Avatar, as M. Night Shyamalan’s adventure fantasy film, The Last Airbender, which is based on the first season of an animated series, will be shown on the same day as Knight And Day.

So what movie will you watch? It will be a clash-filled summer as big-budget movies ranging from remakes to famous franchises will be shown. Will the names Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz be big enough to pull in the money for the box-office? Let’s just wait and see.
