Watch The Vampire Diaries Season 1 Episode 7 S01E07 “Haunted” – Good news for fans of The Vampire Diaries. The CW has just picked up the show for a full season. So, the hit show will not suffer the same fate as Mischa Barton’s The Beautiful Life who has been canceled. And not only that, reruns of the show will also replace Melrose Place on its Wednesday lineup.
Last week’s The Vampire Diaries Season 1 Episode 6 S01E06 “Lost Girls” was very interesting .We are now beginning to learn more about the characters and the things that occurred in the past. The episode answered lots of unanswered questions but not all of them, though.
On episode six, Stefan admitted to Elena that he is a vampire. He told her his secrets and the rules about being a vampire. And she took it very well. But he asked that she should keep this a secret. But Elena wanted him to also explain about the rivalry between him and Damon, how and where it all began. She demanded him to explain the frightening events that have been happening in Mystic Falls. But she then broke up with him after. But because she broke up with him, she is now susceptible to Damon’s attacks.
He revealed through a string of flashbacks his and Damon’s relationship with Katherine during the Civil War where the rivalry began. In 1864, they both of them fell in love with the same girl named Katherine, who then turned them into vampires. But he did not reveal about how Katherine died, so who killed her, him or Damon, still remains to be answered.
Back in the present, Damon takes control of Vicki’s future. He spent the day trapped with her inside the Salvatore house. He then turned her halfway into a vampire. He let her drink his blood and then snapped her neck. And confused and frightened decided to run away. She went to Jeremy’s house. It wasn’t later that Stefan realized that she was already half dead. When he discovered this, he persuaded her to die instead of being transformed into a full vampire. But Vicki drank the blood of Logan, Aunt Jenna’s ex, which turned her into a complete vampire.
But not before Logan shoots Stefan with a wooden bullet, which is deadly for vampires. Damon saved him from the bullet.
On the next episode, The Vampire Diaries S01E07, Haunted, Vicki’s behavior has now become dangerous that Stefan decided to help her. Elena wanted to Jeremy to stay away from Vicki, but did not seem to heed her request. For a preparation the annual Halloween party, Caroline gives Bonnie a necklace which she took from Damon to wear with her costume. And when Damon tried to back the necklace from her, he is surprised by the her abilities. She then told her grandmother, Grams, about the incident, which she was told then after about their past and being voodoo witches. Meanwhile, Matt wanted to cheer up Vicki, so he took her to the school’s haunted house. But things turned terrifying as Vicki quenched her thirst for blood.
