Watch Pacquiao Vs Cotto

The Philippine’s National Boxing Hero will once again enter the ring and hopefully bag another championship belt that will make him the very first boxer in the world to acquire seven (7) different world title belt in seven different divisions.

Manny Pacquiao will be facing the Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto on the boxing ring in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on November 14. You can Watch Pacquiao Vs Cotto on this site on the day of the fight itself. So don’t forget to come back here by then.

According to a “Pacquiao Vs Cotto” article that I read on a site that I stumbled upon the other day, and I quote:

Pacquiao, 31, or as he is called The People’s Champ, is currently the IBO and Ring Magazine Light Welterweight champion. And Ring Magazine, boxing’s most respected magazine, has ranked him the No. 1 pound for pound boxing in the world. He is also the former WBC Lightweight world champion, WBC Super Featherweight world champion, IBF Super Bantamweight world champion, and WBC Flyweight world champion. He was also the the former holder of Ring Magazine’s title for Featherweight, Super Featherweight, Light Welterweight divisions.

He was the first Filipino and Asian boxer to win five world titles in five different weight divisions. He joins the elite group of boxers who held quintuple major boxing champion titles which includes Thomas Hearns, Ray Charles Leonard, Oscar De La Hoya, and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. He is also the first boxer to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes.

With that kind of record, will Cotto even have a chance against it? I for one am rooting for Pacquiao since I am a Filipino but of course, we can never tell what will happen till the fat lady sings right? So let’s check out what Miguel Cotto has under his sleeves shall we?

Miguel Angel Cotto is Puerto Rico’s brightest star and biggest draw in the ring. He has fought and beaten some of the sport’s biggest names like Shane Mosley, Joshua Clottey, Zab Judah, and Michael Jennings. At the age of 28, he has been a pro for 12 years. He has represented Peurt rico at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and the 1998 World Championships where he won the silver medal.

He won the WBO Light Welterweight world title at the age of 23 and successfully defended it six times, before vacating the title to move up in weight division. He is also a former WBA welterweight champion. He currently holds the WBO Welterweight title. He has 34 wins (27 by KOs) and 1 loss.

Not bad… I think both fighters will give their audiences a run for their money during the big Pacquiao Vs Cotto fight. So get your tickets now (if there’s still some left) and pray to all your patron saints and  bet like there’s no tomorrow for your man on the ring. If you can’t afford the overly expensive tickets of the fight, you can Watch Pacquiao Vs Cotto on this site. Till the day of the fight then… cheers!
