The movie is actually based on the truth it will happen in real life. But you don’t know when its not necessary that it will happen in 2012 it could happen before 2012 or after 2012, soon or later. To some comments above.. We humans are actually part-gods. We were given the power to reproduce, the knowledge to find out things and predict things.
